Ball Machine Rental – Terms & Conditions
By renting our equipment, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please review the terms for each listing related to the rental package you are purchasing carefully. Renters must be 18 years or older.
Rental Agreement Required: All renters must sign an agreement covering rental terms and are responsibility for damages. Please bring your driver’s license and your credit card when signing.
RENTAL AGREEMENT (To be signed at pick-up):
1. RENTAL PERIOD
The renter agrees to return the ball machine, charger, accessories and 70 balls in full by the agreed return date and time. Late returns may result in additional charges. See part 4 for details.
2. EQUIPMENT CARE & USE
All items (ball machine, charger, ball collectors, accessories, and balls) must be returned clean, complete, and in the same working condition as received. The renter will be charged for any missing or damaged items at their replacement or repair cost.
3. RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE OR LOSS
The renter is fully responsible for the ball machine, charger, ball collectors, accessories and balls during the rental period. If any item is lost, stolen, or damaged, the renter agrees to pay the full cost of repair or replacement, as determined by the owner. Lost balls will be charged at approximately $2 per ball.
4. LATE RETURNS
If the equipment is returned after the agreed time, a late fee of $10 per hour will apply for each hour overdue.
If the delay exceeds 3 hours, the renter will be charged the full daily rental rate:
• $45 per day (Monday–Friday) + $5 per day for any accessories
• $50 per day (Saturday or Sunday) + $7 per day for any accessories
5. CANCELLATIONS
To receive a full refund, cancellations will have to be made no later than 8:00am on the day of the start of rental to receive a full refund.
6. USE AND LIABILITY
The equipment must be used only for its intended purpose and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
7. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
The ball machine weighs approximately 50-60 lbs. Renter understands that using, moving, transporting, loading, unloading, setting up, and operating the machine involves risks of injury, including being struck by a pickleball, eye or other bodily injury, back or other injuries from moving the equipment, falls, strains, sprains, and injury to players or spectators. This includes any 3rd party and children. Children under 18 need to be supervised by an adult.

8. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by Kansas law, Renter releases and agrees not to sue Owner for personal injury, death, or property damage arising from Renter’s use, possession, transportation, loading, unloading, setup, or operation of the machine, including claims based upon the ordinary negligence or fault of Owner or 3rd parties. Renter voluntarily assumes these risks.

9. SAFETY
Renter agrees to follow the manufacturer's instructions, keep people out of the ball's trajectory, from the opening at the front of the machine and never intentionally aim the machine at a person, use appropriate protective eyewear, use proper care when moving the machine, and stop using the machine if it appears damaged or unsafe. Test the machine before operating it.
10. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By signing below, Renter confirms that Renter has read and understands this Agreement, understands the risks involved, and voluntarily agrees to its terms.
The renter is responsible for safe operation and supervision at all times.
11. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.
